Description
Established in 1996, Borthwick Estate lies in the heart of peaceful Wairarapa just northeast of Martinborough in the south of the North Island.
The 27 hectares of vineyards sit on an old stony river terrace with free draining alluvial soils and a unique micro climate, all surrounded by stunning views.
Powerful aromas of passion and citrus fruits with a hint of flinty minerality coupled with a roundly textured palate make this a classic example of a Wairarapa Sauvignon Blanc.
The full body is beautifully balanced with a crisp, fresh acidity making this a lovely wine to enjoy with fish or shellfish dishes.
