PRODUCTION
Sourced from longest-standing loyal Peter Lehmann growers, Peter Scholz (Willows Vineyard and
Light Pass), Mike McCarthy (Bethany), Simon Hahn (Nuriootpa), Mark Mader (Light Pass), Ralph
Schrapel, (Ebenezer). The grapes are harvested in the morning. Then fermented on skins for up to two
weeks. Individual components were pressed and transferred to barrel for MLF fermentation. Following
MLF, the wine batches for Eight Songs were selected at their annual classification tasting, then
blended and matured for a further 18 months in 40% new French oak hogsheads (60% older).
TASTING NOTE
A rich and fragrant nose with abundant dark fruit, plum, blueberry, all spice and dusty cedar notes.
The palate is all about texture and mouthfeel, with rich ripe plums, dark red fruits, creamy chocolate,
silky tannin and a pure fruited long savoury finish.

A perfect match with chargrilled meats and vegetables. There’s something special about rich, ripe
Barossa tannins and the smoky, sweet grilled flavour from the barbeque! For a special treat, pair with
charcoal-roasted scallops with yuzu beurre blanc and chives!
