Description
The vineyards for Poncereau lie on the north and west sides of the village of Fleurie. Vinification involves a semi-carbonic maceration, typical of the region, with pumping over of the cap, the wine is aged in oak barrels for around nine months before bottling. Mellow, elegant but also racy, it has a silky texture and plenty of ripe red fruit.
