Crafted around the harvest of 2011, Krug Grande Cuvée 167^ème Édition is a blend of 191 wines from 13 different years, the oldest dating back to the year 1995. Blending so many different wines from different years, lends a generosity of flavours and aromas that would otherwise be impossible to express with the wines of just one year.
A very limited number of bottles of Krug Grande Cuvée 167^ème Édition were kept waiting in Krug’s cellars for this precise moment, where a rest of 12 years has allowed the Champagne to gain in roundness, expression, finesse and elegance. Nearly 30 years have been necessary to enjoy this very special Édition of Krug Grande Cuvée as it is today.
